About Architorial
Architorial is a website for anyone interested in learning more about the architectural process, from initial design to construction on site, for clients, other construction industry professionals, to architectural students and enthusiasts.
We are friends and founding partners of Zminkowska De Boise Architects, who share a passion for architecture and learning, and have set up Architorial to share this with the wider world.
The content is intended to be easily accessible and informative, in the form of films, photographs, graphics, drawings, and online resources.
We are launching Architorial with a series of short films discussing the architectural decisions behind our selection of material finishes for five of our projects.
We will follow up with another series discussing the different types of architectural drawings we produce, from initial hand drawn sketches investigating potential alternative options to CAD drawn details for construction.
Architorial will go on to explore other areas of architectural territory, and we do not yet quite know where this journey will take us, but hope that you will join us in the coming months.
About ZDB Architects
Zminkowska De Boise Architects is an architectural practice run by partners Hanna Zminkowska and Richard De Boise.
We offer services for all types and stages of projects, from alterations, extensions and private houses, to education and arts buildings, from conception to completion.
Hanna and Richard are responsible for running all projects and remain the main points of contact throughout the design and construction process.
We pride ourselves on clear communication, thoroughness and attention to detail. We have steadily gained a reputation for well considered and imaginative work.
We have twice been awarded second prize tor New London Architecture’s Don’t Move, Improve! awards tor the best home extensions in the capital. Our projects have also been widely published in periodicals and books, from TimeOut London to The Times, and on websites, including ArchDaily and Dezeen.
